Never Forgive, Never Forget — A woman who saved a blind man watches another steal the credit and bind him with a blood oath.

Zoe pulled Carter from death three years earlier and slipped a bullet necklace into his hand as proof, yet Ava stepped forward and claimed the rescue, sealing a double blood oath with him. Branded a fraud, Zoe suffered a gunshot that shattered her right hand. Later, abductors forced Carter to choose between the two women; he picked Ava, and Zoe miscarried their unborn child. At Carter's coronation, the ancient Godmother declared Zoe the true savior, prompting her to burn away her oath tattoo while Carter collapsed in remorse.
