She Rejected Him to Marry the King — Frostfang Pack Alpha Isla rejects her mate to compete for the Lycan King's Luna title.

At the full moon gathering, Isla publicly spurns Kael, a male deemed wolfless, to chase the crown of the Lycan King. Kael accepts the rejection silently and crosses the boundary stone, leaving the pack behind. Unknown to Isla, the authority she wields was never genuinely hers, and the monarch she courts exists nearer than she suspects. With the Luna Trials underway, the consequences of her ambition and the truth behind her borrowed strength begin to surface, threatening everything she sacrificed.
