Zombie Run

Zombie Run — Disowned Ethan injects a serum that makes the dead obey him, then stalls at a bridge guarded by a mutant while survivors flee south.

Ethan loses his family as the outbreak erupts and gambles on an illegal evolution serum. The dose rewrites his biology so every shambling corpse kneels to his will, giving him a growing legion. Instead of joining the exodus toward Denver, he pushes north, only to halt at a bridge where a single mutant beast has held position for three weeks. Each day his controlled dead grow stronger, yet the stalemate drags on, raising the question of how much humanity remains in him.

Quick answers

What gives Ethan control over the undead?
